Davrom Support Rates/Terms and Conditions

Trading Hours

Business hours are from 9:00am to 17:00pm, Monday to Friday. Any work performed outside these hours, including travel, are billed at the rate of time-and-a-half where 1 hour is charged at 1.5 hours (90 minutes).

Support Pricing

On-site support, dialup support, phone support and travel time are all billed at the same set rate and include GST. The exception is support work for customers on the Sunshine Coast and Gold Coast regions, travel is only charged for one direction (half the travel time is billed). There are two rates based on the customer's category: End User and Reseller - Please contact Davrom Consulting to find out support rates applicable to your organisation.

Special rates may apply to those customers who require a high volume of support work over an extended period of time.

Terms and Payments

Davrom Consulting produces invoices at the completion of each day based on the works either completed or at least partially completed where the case may be. Invoice numbers are set with a date/issue number format (e.g.., 02093001) and seven (7) day terms apply for the expected settlement of all accounts.

Our in-house designed invoicing system tracks the invoice payment activity and will issue reminders should bills remain outstanding. Please be aware that any invoice(s) that exceed 21 days will incur an adminstration fee.

Payments to Davrom Consulting can be made by cheque or direct bank deposit. Banking details will be made available upon request.

Time/Materials Basis

Support time is billed on an hourly basis regardless of the outcome of the task/project being worked on. Any prices quoted for support work are purely indicative as the very nature of I.T can be subject to change based on evolving circumstances.

Liabilities on scripting, software and hardware

Every care is taken by Davrom Consulting staff to ensure that your system, or at least the part worked on by Davrom Consulting staff, is in a robust and fully functional state.

While UNIX shell scripts are extremely powerful and often provide robust solutions for customers (such as tape backups), the very nature of shell and moreover software/hardware in general are subject to failure and therefore Davrom Consulting cannot and will not accept any responsibility or liability for software/hardware failures - this generally refers to circumstances beyond 'human' control or awareness.

Job Schedules

Support work is normally carried out in chronological order (i.e. as work requests are received), however, a system down takes the highest priority so re-scheduling of individual jobs may be required in order to assist a customer where their business is severely impacted.

A customer's invoice repayment history may also govern Davrom's prioritising of support requests. A customer can obtain their repayment history from Davrom Consulting upon request.
