As the backup process for any server is vital to an organisations up-time, we provide a complete assessment of your UNIX/Linux server backup and based on those requirements we will advise on the best backup solution for your server. We provide a non-warranty/non-guarantee product called dmctape which is a script designed many years ago by David Clark in and attempt to ensure accurate backups and the reporting of said backups is provided for customers. We also sell Lone-Tar from Cactus as this is the best tape backup software for UNIX and Linux systems.

We have also worked extensively with providing server to server backups (UNIX to UNIX, Linux to Linux, Linux to UNIX etc) where customers are running a primary and backup server environment.

Includes:

Automated backup setup of software using system 'cron' facility

Ensuring site has Emergency Floppies to match backup solution used

E-mailed report detailing issues and actions performed
