Davrom HeartBeatHeartbeat is designed to be a monthly maintenance check of your SCO/UNIX/Linux system to ensure that it is performing to its optimum capability and by having this regular system check may provide an early indication of possible system issues. In addition to accessing your system Davrom will setup some monitoring programs and the results of these will be checked each month. Based on the server setup, the customer may also be able to monitor and check the results via web browser or LAN/WAN based PC access. The purpose of Heartbeat is to improve your systems month-to-month operation and while the monitoring process is quite extensive, it can only serve to improve the server's operation. It cannot prevent an un-foreseen issue which is beyond its control such as a server Panic or major hardware/software failure. Includes:Does not include: Conditions: The date and time of the actual system access will be determined by the customer as Davrom Consulting will make every effort to work with each individual customers requirements and timetables. Davrom Consulting will install the monitoring programs for use with the on-going maintenance check and the customer will be invoiced each month after the system has been checked. Should the customer no longer wish to use the Heartbeat monthly system check, the monitoring utilities will be disabled/removed from the system as some of these are custom written programs that are subject to Copyright.  |
