E-M-O - Away Message Help

This facility allows you to set up an automatic response e-mail to be sent back to whoever sends you an e-mail. The most common use of this is to let people know that you are away from your place of work and/or your access to your e-mail - examples being on holidays or away on business.

The username you select from the User List pull down selection of the submit page is your username on the e-mail server. For example, the user bill - Bill Bloggs on an e-mail server that looks after the e-mails for bloggs.com.au would be set to respond to anyone sending e-mails to bill@bloggs.com.au.

In the Message section of the submit page you enter the response you want to send back to people who send you e-mail. Below is an example/guideline as to the wording of such an e-mail response:

Hi There,

I am away at the moment returning on the 5th of April. If you have anything
urgent please contact Rose-Marie in our office on 0732720267. Otherwise I
will endeavour to respond to your e-mail when I return.

Regards,
